This website is published by Vincent Paris, physiotherapist and osteopath D.O., practising in his own name as a self-employed health professional, founder of the Terapi practice.

Physiotherapy is a self-employed health profession: it does not fall under the business permit regime, and personal care services are exempt from value added tax. No VAT identification number is therefore issued.

As the activity is carried out in a self-employed capacity, in the practitioner's own name, registration with the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register does not apply.

Person responsible for the site

Vincent Paris, physiotherapist, qualified in France, in Strasbourg. Authorisation to practise as a physiotherapist issued by the Minister of Health and Social Security, under the amended law of 26 March 1992 on the practice and enhancement of certain health professions. The issuing authority is the Ministry of Health and Social Security, Directorate of Health, allee Marconi, L-2120 Luxembourg.

The physiotherapy profession does not come under a professional order in Luxembourg. It is subject to the code of ethics for certain health professions, established by the Grand Ducal regulation of 7 October 2010, as amended by the Grand Ducal regulation of 31 October 2018, available on legilux.public.lu.

The other practitioners working at the practices hold their own authorisation to practise and carry their own professional liability for the treatments they provide.

Hosting

The site is hosted by SiteGround Spain S.L., C.I.F. B-87194171, Calle de Prim 19, 28004 Madrid, Spain (siteground.com). The servers and technical logs remain within the European Union.

Purpose of the site

This site presents the activity of the Terapi practices and the treatments offered there. Its purpose is to inform. The content published is neither medical advice, nor a diagnosis, nor a prescription, and it does not replace an assessment carried out by a health professional.

In line with the code of ethics applying to health professions, this site carries no promotional advertising, no patient testimonial and no promise of results. Descriptions of techniques are factual.

Any technique provided for therapeutic purposes by a physiotherapist is delivered on medical prescription. The PelviCenter® is a medical device presented here within the limits of the intended purpose covered by its marking, with the indications and contraindications defined by the manufacturer.

Intellectual property

All content on the site (text, illustrations, photographs, logos) is protected by copyright. Any reproduction, even partial, requires prior written agreement. Quoting a page and linking to it remains free.

PelviCenter® is a registered trade mark held by a third party. It is cited to designate the device used at the practice, without any commercial link between its holder and Terapi. Other trade marks cited belong to their respective holders.

Liability

The information published is checked and updated as it changes. An error or omission remains possible: if you spot one, write to us and it will be corrected.

The site may link to external services, including the Doctena booking platform and the Google Maps mapping service. Their content and their practices are a matter for their publishers. A link does not amount to endorsement.

Access to the site may be interrupted for maintenance or for a technical reason beyond our control. No compensation can be claimed on that basis.

Applicable law

This site and its legal notice are governed by Luxembourg law. The courts of Luxembourg have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
