Naturopathy

Guidance on daily habits: food, sleep, physical activity.

Naturopathy is guidance on daily habits. It covers food, sleep, physical activity and managing stress, starting from your actual routine.

Who provides it at the practice

Consultations take place at Terapi Centre, with Marie-Cecile, pharmacist and naturopath. That double training matters on one precise point: it makes it possible to spot the interactions between a plant, a food supplement and an ongoing treatment. Plenty of products sold over the counter are not neutral.

How a consultation works

The first appointment is a conversation. It looks at a typical day: meals, timings, sleep, activity, mental load. From there come a few adjustments, few in number and realistic to keep up. A habit you drop after three weeks is of no use.

What naturopathy is not

  • It is not a medical practice, and it makes no diagnosis
  • It treats no illness and replaces no ongoing treatment
  • It never justifies stopping or changing a prescription: that decision belongs to the doctor who wrote it
  • It is not covered by the Caisse nationale de sante

Mention your treatments at the first appointment, along with a pregnancy or breastfeeding. And talk to your GP, who remains your point of contact for anything to do with your health.

Not sure this applies to you?

The initial assessment helps determine whether this treatment is suitable for you. The treatment is carried out on your doctor's prescription.
