Plantar reflexology
Pressure applied to specific zones of the foot, for relaxation.
Plantar reflexology derives from acupuncture. It rests on the idea that each organ of the body has a matching zone on the sole of the foot.
The principle
The practitioner presses on certain sensitive zones of the foot to work on the energy of the corresponding organs. The aim is relaxation and relief from stress.
How a session works
You stay clothed, only the feet are uncovered. The practitioner works zone by zone, with sustained pressure. A session lasts between thirty and forty-five minutes. Some zones can be tender, and the pressure is adjusted with you.
This approach supports wellbeing. It makes no diagnosis, treats no illness and does not replace medical advice.
The initial assessment helps determine whether this treatment is suitable for you. The treatment is carried out on your doctor's prescription.
